Master Bob Schirmer founder of the Combat-Do Fighting Challenge began training in Mixed Martial arts long before it became popular.

His mixed martial Arts training began in the sixties and was at an early age competing in Boxing, Wrestling, Judo and Tae - Kwon -Do a fierce competitor he has fought on five continents representing the United States and the United States Marine Corp since the seventies.

In 2005 Master Bob Schirmer was one of seven elite Martial Artist inducted into the Grappling Hall of Fame.
